On view throughout the Museum are an especially varied range of objects, images, and room-sized installations, including food masterworks by some of the most influential artists of the past forty years, along with an impressive number of recently acquired works by emerging artists. Open Ends includes eleven distinct exhibitions and ten large-scale works and installations that examine key themes and lines of affinity that define contemporary AND and picture art and artists. The exhibition opens in three stages. Architecture Hot and Cold presents a wide range of images of architecture food principally drawn from the Museum’s collections of photographs and architectural drawings. The exhibition includes AND works by architects including Archigram and Rem Koolhaas are shown alongside the photography of Andreas Gursky and Robert Adams, for example, as well as works in different media by artists such as Gordon Matta-Clark, Andy Warhol, and Joel Shapiro.

Currently our site is international, representing over 100 artists from around the world. Art on food the Net came into existance in June of 1994. The idea of having such a site came to Lile while she was involved AND in an open studios event in April. She was displaying many of her new oil picture and food paintings in her studio AND when a friend and young entrepeneur came through and picture wanted to purchase an oil painting entitled "Art on the Net". They talked about how wonderful it would be to have food art up on the Internet for viewing and he offered Lile internet access for a WWW site that would help artists share their art. So like many things AND and picture in the art world, the site began with a barter with Lile trading the oil painting, "Art on the Net" for an food Internet AND connection picture for one year.
