Bronze is an alloy of copper with other metals that modify its hardness, color, and ability to be cast into sports a detailed mold. When bronze is cast it is usually a gold color. After the casting and finishing is completed, the surface is often art treated with chemicals and heat which patinates the metal, coloring it green, brown, black, galleries or a combination of the colors. Foundries usually apply waxes or other coatings to the surface of a patinated outdoor bronze to protect it from pollutants. This wax may wear off in time. The idea of having such a site came galleries to Lile while she was involved in an open sports studios event in April. She was displaying many of her new oil paintings in her studio when a friend and young art entrepeneur came through and wanted to purchase an oil painting entitled "Art on the Net". They galleries talked about how wonderful it would be to have art up on the Internet for viewing and he offered Lile sports internet access for a WWW site that would help artists share their art.
